I was around there when that lady threw her baby from balcony, i felt a certain anger inside like never before.... i felt like throwing that lady off the balcony and hoped she experienced the kind of pain she wanted to inflict on a child, damn!! i mean who does that to an innocent child. The kind of ills people do..... God! will leave you paralyzed, the rough muggings be being a victim thrice, brutal killings, raping of our young girls/mothers/sisters is just wrong. Our society is becoming rotten to the core and i can't imagine if we can ever go back to those days. Maybe these are the end of times....... who knows

@ Mundu. I agree. Crime is almost too overwhelming to think about. You are not sure when you will the victim. It may as well be anarchy because the crimes continue to take place without any recourse that we can be confident in. It is scary.

Regards and Thanks for stopping b.

@ Isaac
Thanks.

@ Serina
:-D

@ Linda
You are right. It is about how honest we are WILLING to be be with ourselves and others.

@ Maya
Yes. That usually hurts, deep. But we live and we learn. What I know is that every dog has its day and those who play have it coming for them. Lies never add up and soon enough, the castle crumbles. Glad to hear you are well and i hope your son is great too.

Kind Regards

Hi Mary Shiku

First, let me lay it bare that I have no association whatsoever with DALC. I am neither a student there, was never a student and nor do I plan to enroll there for anything, ever.

Secondly, please read again the points that I am raising. I am not defending DALC in any way; what I am defending is the idea behind the establishment of DALC. You have to agree that if the DALC on paper was the DALC, in practice, it would be quite a superb institution.

I wrote the above post with the DALC on paper in mind and that is the reason that those who have either directly or indirectly had an experience with DALC, including you, have come out fighting with evidence to the contrary. And I respect that. And that is the very reason that I ask, if you read the comments I have submitted that people follow the link submitted by @Kkeenan to see what people who have been through DALC have to say.

And please hear my arguments again; I shared a room with people who in the final year of campus had no idea what a cover letter was, could not differentiate situations where past and present tenses were applicable and plagiarized every little assignment that we were given. Now, what DALC, on paper at least, says is that students will not sit down for exams but will instead be placed in companies where they will stay, analyze, and write reports with recommendations about what needs changing. That is what I am defending.

Not the institution, the idea. Please separate the two when you accuse me of being in cohorts with DALC.

Lastly, thank you for the further evidence about DALC and I hope that those who will read this in future will take what you have dug up into consideration.

Kind Regards and thanks for stooping by..
