I am curious, where is the outrage that we saw when over 170 Indians were shot to death by the rogue militant terrorists? Where is the shock and horror towards the over 420 Palestinian men, women and children have been killed by Israeli bombs in the streets of Gaza? Where is the urgent reaction by world leaders, and not just those from the Arab league? Where is the condemnation of Israel for killing innocent Palestinians, and over 420 of them if numbers was the issue? Where are the sanctions against Israel for not only killing innocent people in the Gaza strip but for vowing to continue to do so without any fear of repercussions from the rest of the world? Where are holier than thou western leaders who comment on every other issue in the world, but who have mysteriously taken a leave of absence when Palestinians are the victims and Israel the terrorists? What does this say about the world?
Are there deaths which are acceptable collateral? Is such acceptable collateral damage country determined? Are there dollar values placed on lives and does that mean some lives are worth more than others based on the nationalities of the world? Does that mean that if you are classified as living under a dollar a day, your life is worth just that? If that is indeed not the case, can someone explain to me why the death of 2 people in America and 4 in Israel shocks the Western world yet the deaths of over 420 in Gaza is still up for discussion? Why are the murderous actions of a few rogue Palestinian militants the single cause for condemning a whole country and even religion, yet we rationalize the actions of Israel when it takes the lives of over 420 people? What does this say about the moral authority of the world leaders?
Why did we sympathize with the with the over 3000 who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks, empathize with the over 170 who were killed in the Mumbai shootings and grieve for the over 250 who were killed in the 1998 Nairobi bombing, yet instead of sympathizing with the over 420 who are dead in Gaza, we actually dare label those responsible for their killings as the actual victims!!! Is the worth of life a function of Nationality, Religion, Race, Creed, Economic well being, Socialism, Capitalism, Democracy, Resources etc? Have the brains that came up with the concept of “Living under a dollar a day” come up with a similar one that places the value of human life on the people, or are the same dollar value calculations applied across the board? What does this say about the ideologies we adopt and follow in our respective ends of the world?
Why are few people angry at the ongoing status quo? Why should our anger at the reckless loss of human life be contingent on Nationality, Religion, etc? Why do we even seek the opinion of the world powers yet they have already taken sides and their moral obligations are selective based on old alliances and political escapades? Why aren’t we angrier? Why aren’t we tired of the special treatment that Israel receives as it contravenes the same Human Rights conventions that the rest of the world is signatory too? When do we tell Israel enough is enough?
When will Israel realize that for each of the 420 people they have killed, they have helped Al Qaeda recruit a similar or greater number of people (especially family members) who have vowed to avenge those deaths? When will Israel realize that the shoes that were thrown at Bush were for the same reason with what Israel is doing, only this time, it is will probably be increased suicide bombings?
When will we realize that we all mourn when our children die?

When will the world come to it’s senses? When will old men in positions of power, stop killing inocente children? Will they ever learn? May God, Jahve, Allah and every other prophet never forgive those with childrens blood on their hands!
I share your despaire.

Am one angry man because of the images i see about israel issue on CNN World News every morning i wake up. When do we stop treating Israel as special? They are murdering innocent mothers and children and i felt like throwing gumboots at the Israel foreign affairs minister for trying to justify the killings. I thought Israel knew better, i mean you are supposed to go after the perpetrators not the entire country. By the way who said that being a muslim is a crime? who said that christianity is the best religion? Am a christian yet, how many christians have you witness commit crimes you can’t even imagine (One being Mugabe)?. Let us stop and condemn this bullshit and condem Israel on what it is doing, If what they are doing is wrong, then they should be told in their face, lets us can a spade a spade and not a big spoon. I was a bit disappointed by the US transition govermnent and other world leaders for taking sides. One thing Israel does’t undrestand is, for every person they have killed, the have helped terrosist organisation recruit more members. Think of a person who’s entire family has been wiped out by the reckless bombings,he would want to definetly avenge the death of his family members and which approach does he take? he joins Osama and the gang.
You world leaders should start being true to the facts, or else shut the hell up. Anyway who gave you the power to judge!Just because you are superpowers(*#&#@%$%$).
