African Children; Poor But Happy.

Filed under: Africa Wide, Et cetera Principle, Life Lessons — Marvin K. Tumbo @ 8:45 am

My Dad works in a company that involves a lot of traveling. A while back, he was in Uganda, and he took some photos of kids who had come to witness what they were doing. It was a remote area, and the pictures were just beautiful. He has processed the pictures and will give them to the families of these Children on his next visit to Uganda (He simply can’t wait). What stood out for me was the poverty in the area, but even more, that these kids had such enriched faces.

  1. They seem so carefree. That is what I call living. Beautiful pics.

  2. Is poverty then relative?
It seems that the abundance of worldly belongings is not the ultimate measure of wealth, for poverty of the heart and mind is worse. African children may lack material wealth but are rich in heart…they both work and play, so Mutiso (not Jack) is not a dull boy!
