How many of us have ever been in a situation where we have been pleasantly or otherwise suprised by the actions, or remarks by our family, friends, colleagues or even total strangers in communal settings.

I have. And on many, many, many occasions. These are what have called for and warranted my deep introsspection into such statements and actions. While some should be taken at face value, most usually have deep-rooted meaniongs that deserve more than a passing eye.
